Choose the rooms that matter
Discuss sleeping arrangements, kitchen use, storage, laundry and work space. A compact layout can be comfortable when furniture, doors and circulation are considered together.
Plan for privacy and access
Consider window placement, outdoor seating, entry paths and sound between households. Talk about step-free access, wider circulation and future needs where practical. Site review comes before promises about a specific layout.
Use inspiration responsibly
Illustrations help communicate preferences, but they are not permit-ready plans or evidence of a completed project. Ask how a preferred layout must adapt to the surveyed site, structure, utilities and local requirements.
